Comfort for your loved one
Dear family and friends of Colleen, my name is a Mark and I am a community volunteer that helps comfort others in times of need. I wish to express my condolences to you all and sorry for the loss of your dear loved one.
As I was reading Collen’s Obituary, I can see she was a loving person and had a desire to help people, even taking up the work as a teacher helping students and others. I too think about the family and friends I lost. My hope is that someday I will see them again in a paradise and be reunited with them.
I wish to share this message with you as well. It is a hope set out in the Bible. A message of comfort. It seems so unfair that death should have the power to take away someone you love. And when it happens, the thought of never again being able to talk to, laugh with, or hold your loved one can be most difficult to bear. That pain is not necessarily erased by being told that your loved one is up in heaven.
The Scriptures indicate that it is possible to be reunited with your dead loved one in the near future, not in an unknown heaven but right here on earth under peaceful, righteous conditions. And at that time humans will have the prospect of enjoying perfect health, and they will never have to die again. Yes, Jesus Christ promised that millions now dead will live again on this earth and have the prospect of remaining on it forever under peaceful, paradisaic conditions. (Rev 21:3,4; Psalm 37:29)
